14/11/08 Sophie visits the National Zoo & Aquarium … On a school excursion, Sophie (aged 8) visited the National Zoo & Aquarium in Canberra today. Sophie came home and reported that the zoo has an alpaca exhibit with four huacayas - two white, one brown and one black. A suggestion - perhaps the AAA should sponsor the alpaca zoo exhibits? What do you think? On their exciting trip to at the zoo, Sophie and her class fed the giraffes, emus and bears. |

Book and pay the full price between now and the end of February to use these boys. This is an excellent opportunity, particularly for smaller or new breeders. Under this arrangement we can offer you: drive through or on farm (mobile by negotiation); matings available for use any time for two years; live cria guarantee; male cria remate; choice of any, or all of these outstanding boys. |
|
Male cria remate? - how will this work? If you end up with a boy, we will offer you a replacement mating at half price, that is $100 for your next mating. Alternatively, you can register and transfer the male cria to us, in return for the replacement mating. We will provide the A4 form for the replacement mating when, after weaning, the male cria comes to our farm. |

18/12/08 Update on babies... Of the feline variety... Roxy is settling well and is now purring away and running amok, just like her sister, Polly. These girls are really little furry balls of energy. They have even won Geoff over, and he’d say that’s a tough challenge (but we know the truth). Of the camelid variety... Daniella Rose and Dreamweaver are now six weeks old and are inseparable. Delite and Daijiro are now three weeks old. Daijiro is much bigger than Delite, but that hasn’t phased her one bit. We’re expecting Bella Laoch to unpack any day now. |
|
18/12/08 School Presentation Awards and Abby receives... a well deserved award for ‘Effort and Application’.
