How it started...

We wanted to update our website with a whole fresh approach to what we were doing as a stud.  We wanted new content, good quality photos, education coupled with entertainment and something a little bit unique to identify us to the greater world of alpaca breeders and enthusiasts. 

So, we proceeded to get some quotes - $4,000!!!!!!! If we had $4,000 to spare we’d be buying an alpaca not commissioning a website.

Well, Jenni has a Masters degree in Electronic Commerce - marketing, cyber law, a bit of IT and a few other subjects thrown in the mix.  We’ve done some websites before, are pretty handy with a camera, very handy on a computer and every so often Jenni needs to feed her inner artist in some way, shape or form (and you don’t make a mess creating a website!).  So we decided to tackle the project in-house - or in-bed to be quite truthful, instead of going to bed with a book, Jenni’s been going to bed with a laptop!  Our new website was born and is growing rapidly.  Would it have developed to this extent under the $4,000 option?  Pretty sure not.

 

How it’s going... 

www.aingealridge.com.au is pulling the crowds (ha ha ha) - well it’s getting there.  The stats are encouraging considering it’s only been live for a few weeks.

We have a commission to complete another website for Tamworth lucerne grower.  Yes, they’re family, and no we’re not getting paid, but hey, or should that be hay - just a little lucerne joke there J, it’s fun, it’s exposure and it’s practice.

What we need from you…

… details of your content, logo, photos, ideas etc.  We can help with writing the commentary based on the information you have provided.

… details of your ISP and access to load, maintain and test pages. We have a preferred ISP and can arrange a package for you, including site hosting, URL (your web address) and email.

 

The cost…   (gst exclusive)

Off the shelf designs, modified to include your content $120 for the first page and $60 per subsequent pages

Custom designed web pages $250 for the first page and $125 per subsequent page.

Ongoing maintenance - by individual agreement based on quantity and frequency.
